The first bariatric conference in Hawaii, the Hawaii Bariatric Science Symposium was held on February 7, 2013 at the Aulani in Ko’olina. The event was organized to bring together the medical and surgical fields for an educational half day conference, addressing issues related to the complex and comprehensive care of the bariatric patient.
