New Complete Multivitamins

These vitamins are specifically made for patients who can swallow pills. This new batch of vitamins has a new formulary to match the updated The American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) guidelines.
What’s changed?
- Now 50mg of elemental Iron
- Now 1500mg of calcium citrate
- Now 2000iu of vitamin D
Still has 200% of RDA for all other nutrients
Patients take 6 pills a day (3 in the morning and 3 in the evening). One bottle covers ALL supplement recommendations, so no need for any other supplement. Cost is $25 a bottle, and one bottle lasts one month.

Can this be taken in place of the chewables for bariatric patients? Still get all the vitamins we need?

Hi Harriet, post op patients usually take either chewable OR Complete multivitamins for all daily vitamin needs, but you have to be able to swallow pills to take the Complete. Please call Megan (808) 521-1300 to double check with her on this. Mahalo!
